what does devotion feel like in the body? what does submission have in common with prayer? hosted at Kultus Club, this panel discussion brings together practitioners who live at the intersection of spiritual and kink experiences.

Joelle Marcelle (Mother Ella) joins international dominatrices Mx Eve, Thalia Hel, and Mme Lilly to explore how spiritual and sexual experiences share a grammar of transcendence, communion, and surrender. drawing on her theological background (BA from the University of Tartu and MTS from Vanderbilt Divinity School) and somatic expertise, Joelle looks at how neuroscience-informed theology and BDSM intersect, viewing the radical act of embodying your most authentic self—especially the parts locked beneath shame—as a form of somatic liberation.
